Mending

When I look around me
To the left and to the right
In front and behind
Up the mountains, down the valleys and in the deserts
In the market places and the business offices
I see both
The rich and the poor
The fatherless and the widows
The motherless and the widowers
The married and the unmarried
The blind and the lame
The dumb and the deaf
The hopeless and the helpless
The black and the white
The captive and the free
People
Crying aloud with a silent voice
How do I mend this broken heart?
How do I stop the rain from falling?
How do I stop the sun from shining,
Which makes the world go round?
Where do broken hearts go?
Where do they find their way back home?
To the Love of God
The Love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost given unto us
This love is flowing
Flowing like a river wide
Flowing up to the mountains of broken hearts
Flowing down to the valleys of broken hearts
Flowing into the deserts of broken hearts
Setting all captives free
Let it flow through you
Let the mighty Love of God flow out to you
The Fountain of Life
The Joy of the Lord
The Name of the Lord
The Strong Tower
Where the righteous run to and they are safe
So where do broken hearts go to?
The Strong Tower
The Name of the Lord
Where the righteous run to and they are safe
Where do they find their way back home?
In the Name of the Lord
Jehovah Rapha
The Lord our Healer
His Name is Jesus
He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wound
For He says
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me and has anointed me to heal the broken hearted
For He sings
I am the that healeth thee
I am the your healer
I sent my Word and healed your broken heart
I am the your healer
