Why We Believe is the Christ,
The Son of God

We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God because the Bible says so. The Bible says in 1 John 1:1-4 that;
"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the world of life. For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you eternal life, which was with the Father, and manifested unto us, that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may fellowship with us."

We also believe that Jesus is the Christ because we shall have eternal life, which is life after death.The Bible in John 20:31 says that,
"But these things are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that believing ye might life through his name."

It is also written in 1 John 5:1a that,
"Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God."
This means whosoever does not believe that Jesus is the Christ is not born of God. The scripture also says in 1 John 4:5 that
"Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in Him and he in God."
This also means that whosoever shall not confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God does not dwell in him and he is not in God.

I can conclude here by saying that we Christians believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God because:

  • The Bible says so
  • We shall live again after our death
  • We are born of God
  • God dwells in us and we dwell in Him
