JESUS THE CHRIST

THE SON OF GOD

The Son of God put on humanity
that sons of men might put on divinity
The Son of God became the son of Man,
that men might become the sons of God.
The Son of God came from heaven to earth
that the sons of men might go from earth to heaven
The Son of God suffered on the cross
that sons of men might have life
The Son of God bled on the cross
that sons of men might not perish
The Son of God died on the cross
that sons of men might have everlasting life
The Son of God resurrected from the death
that sons of men will also resurrect

HIS AGONY BECAUSE OF US

The pain in the garden,
where his sweat turned into blood
The wore him a crown of thorns
They carried him the cross
They nailed him on the cross
His death among two thieves
All these he did for us
What a wonderful Christ
What a wonderful Savior
